Friends:

As you may know, our legislative efforts in Washington, DC are vital to the continuing success of the cattle industry.  In years past we have had a great many friends in Congress.  With all the new politicians in Washington, we need to re-establish out reputation as the authoritative voice for rancher’s issues.  As the nation’s oldest, largest and most respected association of cattle producers we must get involved and explain our message.  Our message is a good one!

Cattle producers are staunch conservationists, careful stewards of our animals and represent an industry with billions of dollars in yearly assets and sales.  When environmental, animal welfare and tax issues arise we want Members of Congress to turn to us for advice.  One of the only ways we can educate legislators, counteract the falsehoods spread by activists and change the feelings about our industry is with a strong Political Action Committee. The PAC committee has set a goal of $500,000 yearly to accomplish that job. With an investment from you we can communicate our message on Capitol Hill.

PLEASE get involved and contribute as much as you can afford. Your future depends on it!!!

Sincerely,
