Pre-Registration for the 2010 Annual Convention & NCBA Trade Show is now OPEN!  Pre-Registration closes January 11, 2010.

Registration & General Information
Registration is required to attend the educational programs, business meetings, social events and the NCBA Trade Show. NCBA has customized the registration process to meet your convention needs. Registration includes options to attend the full 4-day convention, registration for two consecutive days, one day only, a discounted student registration, or a daily NCBA Trade Show only registration.

 

Pre-Registration Pricing

The Full 4-Day Registration (Wednesday through Saturday):

Includes:

  • Admittance to all four days of convention events and the NCBA Trade Show (including other special ticketed events with the purchase of a ticket)
  • One Best of Beef Breakfast (Thursday) ticket
  • One Flapjack Feed (Friday) ticket
  • One ticket to the NCBA Trade Show Lunch on both Thursday & Friday
  • Admittance and transportation to Cowboys Dance Hall for a private concert with country music star, Clay Walker and a seat for the NCBA Invitational Bull Riding (Friday night)

Daily Registration
Available for any single or combination of days and includes admittance to the convention events (including other special ticketed events with the purchase of a ticket) held on those respective days, and the NCBA Trade Show.

    (includes admittance to Opening General Session and NCBA Trade Show Welcome Reception)
  • Thursday: NCBA Member $175.00, Non-Member $225.00
    (includes one ticket for: Best of Beef Breakfast & NCBA Trade Show Lunch)
  • Friday: NCBA Member $228.00, Non-Member $278.00
    (includes one ticket for: Flapjack Feed, NCBA Trade Show Lunch and admittance & transportation to Cowboys Dance Hall for the Clay Walker Concert & NCBA Invitational Bull Riding)
  • Saturday: NCBA Member $90.00, Non-Member $140.00
    (includes NCBA Board of Directors Meeting & NCBA Annual Membership Meeting)

NCBA Trade Show Only Registration:
Single Day: NCBA Member $40.00, Non-Member $50.00
Multiple Days: NCBA Member $65.00, Non-Member $85.00
Available for Wednesday, Thursday or Friday as a single day or multiple day pass, and includes admittance to the NCBA Trade Show only. Does not include admittance to any other convention meetings or events.

Student Registration: $60.00
Available with valid student ID and includes admittance to all convention events (including special ticketed events with purchase of a ticket), and the NCBA Trade Show. 

Youth Contestant Entry Fee: $15.00 per person, per contest
Available for youth participating in any of the following youth contests: Judging, Quiz Bowl, Public Speaking or Team Marketing Contests. This registration includes admission to the NCBA Trade Show.

Children
Children under the age of 12 are not required to register for the convention, but they must be accompanied by an adult at all times (unless participating in youth contests).

Exhibitor Registration

Each exhibiting company is entitled to four complimentary registrations for each 10’ X 10’ booth space purchased. Exhibiting company registrations over the complimentary allotment are charged $75.00 each. Exhibitors making name changes to a registration will be charged $10.00 per change (this applies to both preregistration and on-site registration). Exhibitors must register online for the Annual Convention. Exhibitor registrations may only be used by technical, qualified individuals who are bona fide company employees or legitimate representatives. NCBA Annual Membership Meeting
If you will be attending only the NCBA Annual Membership Meeting and not participating in any other activities or events at Convention, you may purchase an Annual Membership Meeting Only admission for a charge of $10.00 at the door.

By Fax (Credit Card Payments Only)
Fill out the registration form and fax it to NCBA with your Visa, MasterCard or American Express number and expiration date. Be sure to sign the form as authorization to process your credit card charge. Fax your form to (303) 770-7745. Due to the volume of registration forms faxed to NCBA, we request that you not call to confirm receipt of your fax.

By Mail
Complete the registration form and mail your check, money order or credit card payment to: National Cattlemen’s Beef Association, Attn: Accounting Department, P.O. Box 3469, Englewood, CO 80155.

Name Badges/Tickets
Pick up your packet in the registration area at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center. Your packet will contain all your registration materials, including your name badge, purchased event tickets, and ribbons. There will be a $10.00 fee assessed to replace lost badges, and lost event tickets will not be replaced.

Although registrations will not be accepted by telephone, we encourage you to call us if you have questions while filling out the form. Contact the NCBA Convention Department at (303) 694-0305, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Mountain Time or e-mail us at meetings@beef.org.

Cancellations/Refunds
Substitutions are not allowed. If someone is attending in your place, they must send in their own registration form. Refunds will be issued only for registrations cancelled prior to January 11, 2010. A $70.00 service charge will be assessed on all cancelled registrations. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after this date or for failure to attend. No refunds will be issued on-site.

Under special circumstances and only when requested in writing, a credit (excluding the service charge, ticketed and/or meal events), may be issued to be applied toward pre-registration for the 2011 Annual Convention and Trade Show. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing, accompanied by your confirmation form, sent to the NCBA Convention Department and received no later than February 28, 2010. All refunds and credits will be issued following the convention.

Special Requests
In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, National Cattlemen’s Beef Association will make all reasonable efforts at the Convention to accommodate persons with disabilities. Please call the Convention Department at (303) 694-0305 with your request.

Tax Deduction
All or a portion of your expenses in attending the 2010 Cattle Industry Annual Convention and NCBA Trade Show may be tax deductible. Please consult your accountant or tax attorney.

Release of Attendee Information

Convention attendees’ names and addresses are only released to state affiliates and contracted exhibiting companies, and are not sold to any outside companies/individuals.

Waiver of Liability
NCBA is not responsible for lost or damaged articles, accidents, any mishap due to alcohol or drug abuse, disasters, government regulation or advisory, high altitude sickness, death, injury, illness, fire, disruption, delays, modifications or cancels caused by weather condition, or any mechanical or electrical difficulties, strikes, lockouts, acts or threats of terrorism, civil disorder, acts of God, and other events beyond the control of NCBA. NCBA will make every effort to conduct the program as described; however, NCBA reserves the right to make adjustments to the programs without affecting their overall quality.

NCBA is not responsible for expenses incurred by an individual who is not confirmed or for whom space is not available at the meeting (or if the meeting or any event should be cancelled). Costs incurred by the registrant such as airline or hotel fees or penalties are the responsibility of the registrant.
