Good News, Challenging News and New Media
So far this year, NCBA staff has visited state beef councils/commissions in North Dakota, Pennsylvania, Washington, Idaho Nebraska, Iowa and Missouri to help state staff and directors set strategic outcomes for the next fiscal year. Kentucky, Georgia and Wisconsin will also participate this summer.
Kendal Frazier, NCBA’s senior vice president for leadership and governance, has led a number of these planning sessions. In the interview below, while in Missouri to work with the beef industry council, Frazier talked to Cindy Zimmerman about the opportunities and challenges states face and how new media plays a role in reaching large audiences with positive news about beef.
